Bella Emy:

  • What is your favorite dessert?
    • Brownie Sundae.
  • Do you wish on stars? How about dandelions?
    • Yes to both lol.
  • What’s your favorite holiday?

    • Christmas & Halloween
  • When do you get the most writing done?
    • Either early morning or late at night… really depends on the day.
  • Do you prefer scruffy or clean-shaven?
    • Scruffy!
  • Do you try more to be original or to deliver to readers what they want?
    • A mixture of both.

Alyssa Drake:

  • Do you believe in love at first sight?
    • Yes and I adore romantic comedies as well. I’ve heard the argument; only lust at first sight exists. But I have to ask a question: do you want to sleep with everyone you met? That moment when you first see someone and think “I’m going to marry that person”, are you thinking with your heart or your body…?
  • Do you wish on stars? How about dandelions?
    • I wish on everything; stars, dandelions, birthday candles, fountains, wishing wells. You never know when magic may occur.
  • What do you put on your Sundae?
    • Chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry (no nuts).
  • Is there any genre you refuse to write?
    • I will not write dark romance (i.e. something with a trigger warning). It’s just not my cup o’ tea.Either early morning or late at night… really depends on the day.
  • Which part of your story was your favorite? Why?
    • I really enjoyed writing the dual personality of the killer and the hero. It was like writing two sides of the same personality, good vs. evil. I must say though, I did enjoy the killer more; he is so cruel. The first chapter of the book is by far my most favorite scene (it still gives me shivers).Scruffy!
  • Do you hide any secrets in your books that only a few people will find?
    • Yes. I have a tendency to “Easter egg”. In several stories are references to Wiltshire (and its characters), for those of my fans who’ve been with me from the beginning (the Wiltshire Chronicles were the first books I released).
  • What can we expect from you next?
    • I actually have 2 projects in the works. First, I am re-editing The Wiltshire Chronicles. Books 1 and 2 are scheduled to be released within the next few months and a 3rd book will join them by summer. I am also currently working a new cozy mystery series; featuring a ghost, several dead bodies, and a town on the cusp between industry and simplicity.  Stay tuned.
